Personally Managed AccountThis account allows the investor and speculator to give the broker complete authority/oversight of the account to trade what and when he sees best without the outside approval of the account holder. Managed accounts are for the busy investor who does not have the time, market knowledge, or patience to mange his own account in the futures market, but wants to have a degree of risk exposure to commodities in his portfolio. A personal managed account is like any other trading account with the exception of a third party agreement that must be signed giving the broker the authority to trade the account at his discretion. The minimum amount to open the account is $100,000 U.S. Commissions range between $66-78 per round turn.
